25 September 2026 · TEGOT Farmstead, Gulu City
The day the seeds were planted.
Beatrice Mao launched Kodi Pa Lyec — Seeds of Greatness — bringing agriculture, enterprise and the cultures of Northern Uganda together ahead of 11–12 December.
From the fields to the stage
A new story for the North.
The launch set the tone for a festival where farmers, founders, artists and neighbours meet on the same ground. The celebration continues in December.
Why this matters
More than a festival.
At its official launch on 25 September 2026, the Northern Uganda Farm Festival brought a bold idea into the open: the region's land, people and heritage can drive its own future. Conceived by agri-entrepreneur Beatrice Mao, the gathering at TEGOT Farmstead in Gulu City introduced the theme Kodi Pa Lyec — Seeds of Greatness.
NUFF aims to make agriculture an attractive enterprise for young people, connecting farmers with innovation, practical knowledge and commercial opportunity. The launch also celebrated Northern Uganda's cultural life, with performances and a shared vision for agro-cultural tourism.
For local producers, exhibitors and businesses, the December festival is a place to be seen, make connections and build markets. For visitors, it is an invitation to experience the region's food, music, knowledge and creativity on the land where the work happens.
The next chapter unfolds on 11–12 December 2026.
